Coloration

Knowing the Color

Some of our ingredients arrive in "nude blocks" – stackable, frozen blocks of meat that are palletized for efficient transportation. In accordance with USDA regulations, a food-grade coloring made from organic materials is applied to the top layer of each pallet. This coloring serves as a visual indicator that the contents are destined for a pet food manufacturer. This is the law, and no pet food company can get around.

What You Need to Know

We can confidently assure you that the coloring is harmless and poses no risk to their furry family members.

Occasional Visibility

On rare occasions, some of the colored ingredients might not be fully processed and may still be visible in our final products. If you do notice any discoloration, please be assured that it is completely safe and non-toxic. We stand behind the quality of our products and the integrity of our manufacturing process.

This coloring is rarely visible because we process the top layer separately, specifically for our furry family's meals. Since we're aware of the coloring's presence and have confirmed its safety, sometimes the color makes it past us, but we can assure you that it is perfectly safe.
